Sports Management Solutions (SMS) founded 2016 to offer support & guidance to community organisations wanting to improve & develop. We have a history of successfully managing complex capital/revenue programmes; having directly secured over £6.5m of external funding for organisations across the North East. The business supports charities, local authorities, schools, clubs, colleges, SME’s & voluntary sectors as well as offering a variety of business focused solutions for the leisure/sport sectors.
The 3 main business strands:
Business Consultancy- offering a range of services including business strategy, income generation, interim management, options appraisals & change management. The Company has a proven track record of helping SME’s to develop & grow through robust business planning, fostering strategic relationships, identifying new markets & efficiency savings.
Funding support & guidance- SMS has successfully identified & secured grant funding for revenue/capital projects for organisations across the North East. Funding advice & guidance is free to charities & local organisations. Grant applications can be developed & submitted on behalf of community groups on a no win no fee basis.
Facility & project development- SMS specialise in improving existing & developing new sports & community facilities for our clients. We oversee all aspects of the journey from project inception through to practical completion.
