Low Lights Tavern, the oldest pub in North Shields, located at North Shields Fish Quay. Offering home cooking including delicious hand made pies, real ales, selection of Scottish Whisky, wines & spirits with a warm old fashioned welcome.
Believed to have been an alehouse for over 400 years it's the oldest pub in the area. Now a free house with guest ales.

The bar area in the central room is the heart of the pub with that traditional pub feel and a friendly welcome waiting
In the Music room you'll find Monday's are Bongo Bob's Buskers night, Thursday acoustic music, Saturday & Sundays from 9 regulars play.
Or you can cosy up in the snug for some peace with the real fire place for winter :)
Our pub has socially pro-active regulars with staged plays, local art on display available for purchase and a Cycle Club (Low Lights Chain Gang) meets weekly on Weds at 6:30pm amongst other things!
