Linskill Centre

The Linskill and North Tyneside Community Development Trust is an independent registered charity and company limited by guarantee. The Trust completed the asset transfer of the Linskill Centre in April 2006 and has successfully developed it into a thriving community hub serving the communities of North Tyneside. The Trust operates a number of community businesses at the centre under Linskill Trading Ltd, including catering, office space, room hire, weddings and functions. These services are for the benefit of the local community with all surpluses being reinvested into the centre and its community activities. The Trust now manages two other satellite sites at Battle Hill Multi-Use Centre and Royal Quays Community Centre, and is focused on creating thriving communities for all within North Tyneside. The Linskill Centre attracts over 160,000 visitors per year through its community groups, tenants, weekly activities programme, nursery, events and cafe. Within the centre you will find an Ofsted registered nursery for 76 children, new commercial kitchen and cafe, two large halls and licensed bar, 10 meeting rooms and 20 permanent tenants based at the centre, offering support services across North Tyneside.
