Farplace Animal Rescue

We started small in 2002 taking in animals at our Farplace home in beautiful Weardale. We registered as a charity in 2008 as a charity and, since them, we have grown over the years, so we now have an animal care team of 3 full time staff, extensive vet costs, land purchase of woodland and fields that are used for both wildlife habitat creation and horse rescue.  We have stables and a wildlife experience zone for the public footpath that crosses our land, with bird hide and a range of different habitats. We have a great management team and our events and shops programmes are growing rapidly, to hasten the day we can open more rescue centres. We hope you will join us in this journey.
