We are offering specialist housing for those living with dementia. The development will be the first of its kind in the North Tyneside and will offer individual tenancy and bungalows on a long tenancy agreement. The project has evolved after extensive consultation with people living with dementia and their families, as well as North Tyneside Council, Age UK North Tyneside and EveryDay Care & Support. The development will provide housing for 40 people living with dementia or other cognitive impairment. It will create 45-50 new specialist care jobs plus management roles when doors open in June 2021.
