Ernest Cafe

Ernest is an independent cafe bar based in The Ouseburn, Newcastle . 7 days a week from 10am until late we serve up brunch, dinner , evening meals and a range of homemade sodas, cocktails and carefully chosen drinks. All of our food is home-cooked from scratch and we cater for vegan, veggie, gluten free and meat eaters. Come by and try our long standing and very well loved hashbowls; chorizo and halloumi is our biggest seller! Pre covid we also offered Tango, art groups, film nights, talks and weekend micro-clubs, we hope that these will return soon. we are also in the process of opening a deli, shop and takeaway with a focus on local food producers and making home cooking easy and tasty.
