Over a 40 year career, Managing Director Alan Vasey has always focused on the need to implement robust Quality Management Systems, from the original BS5750 through to the current ISO 9001:2015 requirements. Working closely with people, from shop floor to board level, strong communication skills are a key element in achieving business success. This, combined with a “can do” attitude has seen Alan operate in the diverse roles of Production Manager, Technical Manager, Operations Manager and of course Quality Manager, so you can be confident we'll provide support at all levels in your organisation. Up to date skills and knowledge are essential to AV Specialist Consulting's customers, and Alan completed his Degree in Management Studies at the University of Northumbria at Newcastle. Following his long term passion for Quality, Alan chose to augment his skills and in 2013 completed his Master Degree (with Merit) in Total Quality Management and Organisational Excellence via Sheffield Hallam University. As a member of both the Chartered Quality Institute (PCQI) and Chartered Management Institute (MCMI), our vision is to enhance and support the operational success of the many talented businesses that would benefit from the implementation of robust Quality Management Systems.
