Roger Makepeace
Clinical Psychologist
Roger set up Bright Psychology in 2013 following a successful career working within the health and private sectors. Amongst other things he has worked as a Clinical Psychologist in NHS brain injury services and as an occupational psychologist in the Department of Work and Pensions. His interests are in specific learning difficulties, return to work following trauma and delivery of psychometric, cognitive and personality assessments.
Roger is a chartered clinical psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a registered practitioner psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Accreditation as a psychologist requires postgraduate training and Roger has completed a number of academic qualifications to add to his experience. He is an Associate Fellow of the BPS and member on the register of qualified test users for occupational ability and personality, and part of the SpLD Test Evaluation Committee.
Gemma Makepeace
Administration and Finance
Gemma has worked for Bright Psychology since 2013 and is responsible for managing the administrative and day-to-day operational aspects of the company including scheduling of appointments, liaising with our clients and customers, invoicing, accounts and salaries. She is your first point of contact when you telephone or email us.
Gemma initially trained as a nurse and worked for 10 years in adult coronary care, respiratory high dependance and intensive care units. She has acquired many skills which she has adapted to her role within this company and has gained a wealth of expertise delivering outstanding customer service.
